On November 7th Worcester will play host to the next Dirt Run; a night time event over 8km (senior) and 3km (junior) on multiple terrain types. These events are really good fun, taking place at night across tracks, trails, woods and paths whilst raising money for St Richards Hospice.
The event is always well organised with the course well marked and lighting provided in the darker areas – however, all entrants must run with a torch of some kind. In the past dogs have been allowed at these races, but unfortunately they are no longer allowed – leave your dog at home if you’re going this year.
It starts and finishes at Top Barn Activity centre, Worcester. There’s a cafe, toilets, changing facilities etc on-site. For more information and to sign up, see the event website, here; http://www.dirtrun.co.uk
